Botany

The term botanist refers to anyone from a wide range of people who study plants. Botany is a very large field. Botanists usually specialize in one type of plant or one specific approach to studying plants. Most botanists are busy doing research at least some of the time. Their work is vital to our lives because we depend on plants heavily, and some botanists find solutions for us to more easily grow food or wood.
